Mark and Joyce became the pastors of Central Assembly of God in April of 1997. Pastor Mark had served as the Assistant Pastor prior to becoming pastor.

Pastor Mark is very involved in every aspect of Central Assemblies ministries. His interaction with the children and teens of the church establishes a bond with the church of not only tomorrow, but of today.

Pastor Mark is originally from Columbia, Missouri. He has been in Iowa long enough for us to make a Hawkeye fan of him, but he still keeps a close tab on the Missouri Tigers.

Mark and Joyce have two children: Heather, a student at Ozark Bible Institute, and Ryan, who is a senior in high school.

Education: Two years at Ozark Bible Institute, Neosho, Missouri; Bachelors Degree in Computer Science; Bachelors Degree in Industrial Education

Pastor Mark is bi-vocational. He also is a senior systems engineer at Rockwell Collins.

Joyce teaches the teenage girls on Wednesday nights, leads the women's visitation, is the director of music, and fills in where needed at the church.
